David Gandy is a British model who is
best known for his work with Dolce and Gabbana. There would be no David Gandy the model, if not for daytime television.
Richard & July. And there were would be no David Gandy the supermodel, if
not for D&G.
He has
basically been “discovered” twice. Which is quite an achievement. It’s hard
enough to be discovered one, let alone twice. And also to then be crowned the
male equivalent of Naomi Campbell. Which he was. His super status was cemented
at the London Olympics’ closing ceremony this summer, when his face graced the
side of his very own truck as a symbol of all that is great about British
Fashion.
Partially dressed in Dolce &
Gabbana, here is David Gandy on the cover of the Winter/Spring 2013 issue of 10
Men magazine, photographed by Paul Wetherell.
