he was born in Baar (canton of Zug) and grew up well
protected in Solothurn. After economic high school, he started my physiotherapies
education in Bern which lasted 4 years. Then he practiced in a sports
physiotherapy for 3 years. During this
whole time he was modeling part-time for clients such as Odlo, Cartier, Skoda,
Manor and Vögele Shoes which was a big pleasure form him.In autumn 2009 Jan Schumacher decided to start with full-time modeling. Since then he have been working mainly in Switzerland / Germany and also in Vienna, London, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Istanbul, Milan, Amsterdam and Cape Town. So far he was able to work for renowned clients such as Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Bacardi, Barutti, Bugatti, Baci, Men’s Health, Cosmopolitan (Calendar 2012), and Fit for Fun. The Bacardi Elixer TV ads (from 11/2011) and the performances in „Quantum of Solace“ (James Bond, 2009) and “Liebling, lass uns scheiden” (Marco Rima, Esther Schweins, 2011) were huge highlights in my still very young career.
