Legend Gary Strydom born 1960 in Durban. South Africa is an American
IFBB Professional Bodybuilder. He is notable as being the only person to
win a Championship title under Vince McMahon's now defunct World
Bodybuilding Federation.
After the fall of the WBF Strydom decided
to take a long break from competing in the mid 1990s. Prior to the WBF Strydom
won four IFBB professional titles.
The Man is 52 and a gentleman and a true
ambassador of the sport. He made his comeback at the 2006 Denver Pro
(he was 47 years young) we shot the DVD Ageless (Titans Vol. 9) in Venice, CA.
Here are some amazing snapshots we got on Venice Beach! We will never forget
that shoot and the fun we had on that day....... We have never again witnessed
a Bodybuilder have such an appeal to "outsiders" of the sport.
