Henry William Cavill was born on May
5, 1983 in Jersey. He attended St. Michael’s Preparatory School, but first got
into acting when he was a student at a boarding school called Stowe School.
It's no secret that Henry Cavill is a good looking guy. Though he had some
roles to his name before his stint on "The Tudors," the
"Immortals" star really hit the big time when it was announced he
will take on the iconic role of Superman in 2012's "Man of Steel."
Movie magazine Empire once dubbed him the 'unluckiest man in Hollywood'
after losing out on leading roles in Twilight, Batman, Bond and McG's Superman
reboot.
Cavill has been working hard to get
in the best shape possible to play Superman in the upcoming comic book
adaptation. Talking about his diet and exercise
plan, Cavill said recently: 'I’m on 5000 calories a day… You’ve got to eat
protein first, then a little bit of carbs…you’ve got to keep your hunger levels
going.
'I’m training two and a half hours a
day, pushing my body beyond its normal limits, putting on a lot of muscle mass
and just making myself look like Superman.'
