Dsquared² Spring 2012

Dan and Dean Caten of Dsquared² return to the catwalk with swimwear and other goods on display. Ready for sun and bronzed status, the boys of Dsquared² boast an eclectic style that makes for both formal and naughty forays. On one end of the spectrum, the Catens offer tailored double breasted jackets, coupled with tapered trousers, while on the other side, a rebellious youth is made visible.

From a wonderful denim and leather jacket to a tiger motif, the collection finds its stride in a fashionable vehicle that does take itself too seriously and in that the joy comes to the surface for a fantastic spring season.

Flashing muscles, bright colours, stars, bondage, nail polish and soft eyeliner. Dsquared2 shows the varied worldwide young culture, with all its rebel and exhibitionist verve. Without forgetting the tailoring and celebrating the return of the swimwear, once again protagonist.

Andres Velencoso Segura in Esquire Magazine

Andres Velencoso Segura has kept us flipping through many magazines for quite some time now. Born March 11, 1978, Segura got his break when Natalie from Q Model Management discovered him in 2001. Segura was flown over to New York and unable to speak any English; but that didn’t matter much, because soon after arriving in New York his good looks caught the eye of noted photographers including Michael Thompson and Francois Nars.

Since then, Segura has been hitting the jackpot landing on many fashion magazine covers such as, L’Officiel Hommes, Hercules, Arena Homme, and international volumes of Elle, Vanity Fair, and L’Officiel Hommes. What probably put him ahead of the pack was his famous Louis Vuitton campaign with Jennifer Lopez in 2003. He has since booked advertising campaigns with companies such as Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier, Yves Saint Laurent, H&M, and has worked with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Karl Lagerfeld and Terry Richardson, just to name a few. Interests are soccer and darts. His middle name is actually Segura.

Andres Velencoso Segura of Sight stars in a cinematic story for the latest edition of Esquire EspaƱa. Photographed by dynamic creative team Hunter & Gatti, Andres is styled by Chabela Garcia in a luxe dark wardrobe.

Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012

Italian label Dolce & Gabbana crafts a web of a season for their spring 2012 collection. Seeking to interject tailored menswear with a fashion-forward concept, the latest range looks to meshed textures for a signature look. From casual shorts and hooded tops to more striking suiting, designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana demonstrated a playful hand this season.

While crisp suiting made an appearance, the relaxed nature of silhouettes and inclusion of fun separates, ranging from the jumpsuit to barely there jackets made for a fresh outing, coupled with style and substance.
